Stress-Free Sales Tips

Create an introduction.

1.        Don’t start with "Would you like to buy..?"  The standard answer is NO!

2.        Introduce yourself, your group and their goal emphasizing the goal.  What's the money going to for?  Communicate your organization's purpose, and you will make more sales.

Set Specific Goals & Firm Deadlines
Starting is the hard part, and bringing everything in on time is next hardest.  If it is not clear when the fundraiser ends, you will have things dribble in and never get momentum working in your favor.  Make sure everyone is perfectly clear on the start and stop dates.  You can also have “First Week” incentives… a prize to whomever brings in the most sales the first week.  That will get “Mo” (momentum) working in your favor!

Don’t be a Copy Cat!

The last thing you want to do is over saturate the community.  You’ll only hurt each other.  Find out what others in the community are doing at the same time, and don’t conflict with the time, or find another idea...  there are plenty!
